Description

This remix of the owl glasses holder is separated into parts so no AMS is needed. Each color prints on its own build plate. Snap the parts together and you're done. The parts should be a friction fit but you may want to add a drop of glue to ensure they stay together for a long time to come!

I will add a print profile variant to include more realistic eyes. Still NO AMS REQUIRED!

so sweet! offered one to my mum and could not resist to have my own owl. I just needed a small spot of glue for the eyes.

Print went quite well, but constructing it was a tight fit. it looks beautiful! (just noticed that the lighting from my snapshot overemphasizes the printing lines)

glad you like it. it’s a fine line for those that want a tight fit so as not to require glue, and those that don’t mind putting a drop or two on to hold the parts together.

This print was basically exactly what I was looking for. I changed the eyes to suit my taste, but otherwise everything printed and got together great. Thanks for splitting it up for us non-AMS folk!

A fantastic glasses holder! A long time ago, I stumbled upon exactly such an owl in a store and bought one for my glasses at the time. Unfortunately, I never saw it anywhere again afterwards, and secretly regretted not having bought another owl for my second pair of glasses or sunglasses. I was overjoyed when I saw this model here. Now I can print as many owls as I want - in freely selectable colors, just as I like it. Thank you very much for this model! The profile is excellent - the print works without any problems and turns out wonderfully.

Absolutely love it! Holds my glasses perfectly. I colored the feet gold to match the beak, because I saw that on a different print, but ultimately picked this one for the eyes😍
