Homer Simpson in 3D? Woohoo! If you’re gearing up to 3D print Springfield’s favorite donut-loving dad, you’re in for a fun ride. Homer’s iconic look and hilarious personality make him a great addition to your Simpsons collection!

Colors Used:

- Elegoo: Matte Yellow, Matte White, Pink

- Sunlu High Speed: Grey

-Bambu Basic: Black, Cyan (Blue)

-Bambu: Matte Latte

-Esun: Gold (not shiny) (Dark Yellow) for the bottom donut

Model Details:

  • Scale: At 100% scale, Homer measures approximately 9 inches (229mm) tall. Scaling up and down shouldn't pose any issues.

Assembly Steps:

  • Attach the Boots to the Pants
    • Apply glue to secure the boots to the bottom of the pants.
  • Connect the Pants to the Shirt
    • Use the body pin to attach the pants to the shirt securely.
  • Attach the Arms
    • Glue the left and right arms to the shirt.
  • Assemble the Face
    • Glue the mouth onto the face.
    • Insert the black eyes into the white eye pieces, ensuring the flat edge of the black eyes is positioned at the top of the white eyes. Then, glue the white eyes into the face.
  • Attach the Hair
    • Insert the top hair pieces:
      • The front piece should have its flat printed edge facing backward.
      • The back piece should have its flat printed edge facing forward.
    • Apply a small amount of glue to the cutouts on the sides of the head and attach the hair piece.
  • Assemble the Donut
    • Glue the two halves of the donut together.
    • Cut small pieces of different colored filament to create sprinkles. Be careful not to place sprinkles in the area where the donut will fit into Homer’s hand, as this may prevent it from fitting properly.
  • Final Assembly
    • Place the donut in Homer’s hand. With that, your Homer Simpson model is complete!

Congrats! Your Homer is ready to bring a little Springfield charm to your space. Whether he’s on display or making you smile, he’s the perfect addition to any collection. Enjoy your masterpiece! 🍩
