Ghostbusters clock

Ghostbusters “No Ghost” logo clock, featuring Trap style hour hand, PKE meter minute hand and firing neutrona wand second hand! 

What do you make for the Ghostbusters fan that has it all? A clock of course. 

Made using the Makerworld clock kit, with the 84 Ecto no-ghosts logo, this clock is a bit of fun for ghostbusters enthusiasts, including me!

Making the clock

Printing:

Clock face: Textured PEI plate with the clock face down, red, white and black filament needed. 

Second hand: Supertack or Smooth cool plate, black and I've used blue and orange filament, you can choose what colour proton streams you want!

Minute and hour hands: Supertack or Smooth cool plate, yellow, black, silver and green needed for this look. As it's just four colours, I've put them both on one plate, as they can be printed using the AMS / AMS lite. 

Assembly

Fit the clock kit into the No Ghost clock face, then fasten the supplied fittings

Next you'll need to fit the hands. 

For the second hand, first separate the pin from the supplied hands, bending the supplied second hand near the pin seems to be the easiest way for me.

Then, push the pin into the second hand hole on the proton gun second hand, be careful in doing so, it's a tight fit on purpose. 

Your hands are now ready to attach

Always position the hands pointing to 12 (or roughly 12 in this case!).

The hour hand goes on first (take care to push the circle part of the hand, as the hand is thin and is easily snapped. 

Then the minute hand

Then the second had. 

That's it! - Fit the battery and set the time.

Remember…. don't cross the streams.
