Description

This is for tangle-free transport of apple earpods with AUX Plug.

 

I printed with the X1C with a 0,4 mm nozzle on a cool plate with 45°C during the entire print. I used the 0,16mm “optimal @BBL X1C” preset. Changed parameters: 10% Gyroid Infill, Support enabled on build plate only.

Filament: Bambu PLA Tough Grey

 

It needs minimal cleanup at bottom supports with a pair of pliers and a deburring tool and inside of the earbud area with a deburring tool.

 

The Earbuds have to be rotated two ways at the same time to be inserted in their designated slot (around the long achsis / stalk of the bud while moving the cable-end of the bud from across the holder to the inside-bottom of the holder) . I'll add a video as soon as I get to it.

 

The Cable needs to be wrapped around and clipped into one of the circular slots.

This is so perfect!! When I was searching for a case for the Earpods with an Aux plug, I couldn't find any but this one and it was a perfect fit! You need to read their description to understand that you HAVE to rotate the Earpods two different ways for them to fit. Do NOT try to push them in! You have to rotate them twice!

Trying to put the earpods in broke them. The design itself also seems larger than it should. But, the 3.5mm snapped in place well

PLA with X1C fits perfectly once you figure out how the earbuds need to be "screwed in" I have a Lightning connector it doesn't hold well but that doesn't bother me Thanks a lot for this

Even if it looks dated, it can at least help avoid clutter if you don't always want to use the original cases

Sharp edges and hard to remove inner support. Didn't fit the apple heads.

Earphones don’t fit in the design, and not even making pressure. The sharp edges could damage the cables.
