Description

Update 14.05.2025: Added 60-rounds version upon request.

Update: Uploaded a second profile for a larger box — designed to store 100 rounds of .223.

Please check another version designed also for those stripes: https://makerworld.com/pl/models/2100894-modular-storage-box-with-inserts#profileId-2275061

I created box for .223 ammo intended to use with speedloader created by @Sam (https://makerworld.com/en/models/818779#profileId-761521)
you can safely store ammo and have it organized by 5 strips of 10 rounds of ammo, you can load it directly by just inserting Strip Guide - also created by @Sam (https://makerworld.com/en/models/818827#profileId-761574)

feel free to comment and please send me info if you have any suggestions how to make this box better :)

there is also a box for storing 20pcs of ammo: https://makerworld.com/en/models/1152827#profileId-1157293

works great. holds clips nice and tight. tested with reloading and can empty the 50 round box in 10-15 seconds. love it 😊. also love that the lid fits the bottom of the box as well.

A fair warning to anyone making this case - don't print in PETG-CF without adjusting settings. I made that mistake, and I had a ton of infill lines peeling up off the previous layer, so much that I had to restart twice before I figured out the issue. I wouldn't normally print in PETG-CF, but I got a bunch of spare material from work, so I figured I'd use it. Set your sparse and solid infill to a Hilbert curve or an octagram spiral, and set your bottom layer to a Hilbert curve to avoid the layers peeling. It's going to take longer to print, but it'll be worth it when you actually have a successful print. Also increase your bed temperature a few degrees if you have first layer adhesion issues, and/or use a glue stick. I set my bed temp at 75C and my nozzle temp at 265C to avoid clogging & clumping, and it's working beautifully. Love these cases and the whole system the uploader built. Great work, and I'll be using these for my next range day!

Could you enlarge this box to 60 rounds? That's exactly 2 AR-15 magazines. Thanks.

I like the boxes but do not understand the dynamic of the lid. It looks like the bottom of the box is used to store the lid but is the lid meant to snap into the top or slide? Seems to be stops at both ends of the outside box slide rails.... I realize that perhaps a more intelligent person may figure it out unquestionably...but I do have a slight nagging that perhaps I am not thinking on it right....could you help out by fully explaining the top/bottom concept of the lid?

hello, the cover is designed to be slide-in both from the top and from the bottom

How well do you think these would hold up to being stacked in a metal 50 cal ammo can?
