this is the dumbest design I have ever seen.. why not just make the parts with a positive nub on the stems? trying to jam a piece of filament into the hinge holes is like volunteering to be a crony on Home Alone..

Pretty harsh review... did you even try? I assembled 2 pairs with no issues, and the hinge mechanism works great.
