Description

A remix of drbaph's R36S grip design, which is of  Devongb's RG353V design.

This was my favorite freely available model that I found, but had a few adjustments I made for my own usability.

1 - Opening for USB/Audio ports as well as vents.

2 - Flattened the bottom of the grips so supports are only needed for the flat section under the console.

3 - SYMETRICAL - The left/right section were a bit different, so I cut the model in half, and mirrored it.

4 - Angled the top back, for less interference/uncomfortability when accessing back buttons.

5 - Flattened/trimmed the front section, for more comfortable access to the buttons.

6 - Slightly scaled down for a tight fit without additional materials. (Printed in Polymaker Draft PLA) . Please let me know if the fit is too tight/loose for you, and I will add notes to this file accordingly.

NOTE - If you do not like the flattened section on the handles, select the following for the “Smooth Handle” version.

I have no issue with this model being used commercially, but the remix I started from is listed as “Non-Commercial”. I'll see if I can get permission from drbaph to get this changed.  — Just received permission to set this as commercial. Go nuts!

Hello! Would it be possible to create a grip for the BATLEXP G350 game console? Its lower left edge is rectangular while the right edge is rounded Thank you in advance

Hello! I do not own that console myself, but the dimensions appear to be virtually identical, save for the corner I cannot guarantee a perfect fit, but I will modify the file, and you may attempt to use it

The STL is uploaded. Click Download STL/CAD Files, and select the Batlexp G350 Test. If it works for you, please upload a picture! GOOGLE TRANSLATE Se carga el STL. Haga clic en Descargar archivos STL/CAD y seleccione la prueba Batlexp G350. Si te funciona, ¡sube una foto!

Also, if you are able to save the 3MF file and send it to me upon completion, it would greatly assist me in uploading it as a separate model for others to discover! Assuming it fits as anticipated

Any chance of uploading the STEP or F3D for this? I wanna remix it for an R36 Plus and the corner radii are much smaller so it doesn't fit as-is with basic resizing. STL is a pain in the butt to work with in Fusion. Thanks!

Hey! If there is an easy way to do so, please let me know. I threw this together in Tinkercad, and the only export options are STL, OGJ, and GLTF.

Ugh, gotcha. Let me look into it and see if any of those other export formats convert nicely to a STEP and maybe we can meet in the middle. :)

hmm. I think that was OBJ, not OGJ. That may be our best bet, but I fear it's still gonna produce a nasty mesh. But it's what we got and often what is used as an intermediary format, so if you could export to that then that would be awesome and I'll see what it does.

printed nicely like that it’s now more of a snug fit for the console. The cut outs for cables is useful but I wish they had left the curved bottom on the bit that sits in your palms. the curve is more comfortable than the straight version.

Hi Jnsy. Thanks for your input. I will soon include a version with the smoothed bottom as per your request. I didn't find it affected my use/play, hence the flattening.

I have uploaded a version with the curved bottoms. Not sure why it isn't showing up on the page yet.. But feel free to DM me directly and I will send you the file.

You should be able to find the smooth-handle STL of this print if you choose the selection pictured below. Hope this meets your needs!

will this work on an r40s? or is it too different? thanks for info.

Sorry, don't have that answer - I do not own an r40s. Looking online, it seems like there are a few different shells for R40s. One looks like it might fit, the more rounded bottom looks unlikely.

This is not an issue with the print profile, or the model. The many successful prints of this model should make that clear. Clean your plate friend.
