RENGOKU Stainless katana

Let me introduce the RENGOKU Stainless katana, a custom-designed decorative model inspired by iconic sword styles. Perfect for anime fans, collectors, and cosplay enthusiasts, this collapsible katana combines functionality with stunning aesthetics.

One of the best features of this design is that it can be printed without supports, and it’s compatible with most 3D printers, including the Bambu Lab A1 Mini! The collapsible mechanism adds a unique touch, making it not just a display piece but also a fun interactive model to assemble and showcase.

I’d love to hear about your printing experience! Feel free to share photos and feedback in the comments—I’m curious to see how your print turned out and what colors you chose for the details.

You can choose between two print profiles: one where all elements are connected, allowing you to print a fully assembled sword, and another version where the sword and blades are printed separately, with a cap to seal the casing.

Customization Tips:

  • Color Options: Print it in a single color for a clean, minimalist look, or go all out with multicolor prints to highlight the intricate patterns and collapsible joints.
  • Material Recommendations: For durability and a smoother finish, I suggest using PLA or PETG on a Textured PEI Plate.

Pro Tips:

  • Ensure your print bed has good adhesion to prevent failures, especially for larger pieces. If needed, a touch of glue can make a big difference.
  • This model is intended as a decorative item only and is not suitable for use as a weapon or for rough play.

I hope you enjoy bringing this design to life!
