Resilient machines equipped with digging claws, capable of creating vast tunnel networks and releasing trapped greenhouse gases from deep within the rock. Over centuries, they terraformed entire planets, shaping them to perfectly suit the needs of the Creators' civilization. Now, with the Creators vanished or dead, the Wheeleers lie dormant beneath the surface of these worlds. They stand ready to eliminate anything that dares to disturb the eternal rest of their makers.
They are highly resilient and immensely patient.
