Description

Assemble yourself Vintage Row Crop Tractor set. Modeled at approximately 1:27 scale. Modeled based off a Case 2290 tractor. If you enjoy this model give it a download or boost!

I have not created an assemble book, however it is fairly easy to figure out the assembly based on the parts. I plan to create an instruction sheet at a later date or if anyone really needs it. The lower window assembly is the trickiest part and once assembled it is difficult to disassemble. Recommend taking your time here.

Would rather print screws on side and back hubs. I added a hitch and case decals to mine so younger kids can play with it.

I added a chassis to the print profile that includes a hitch by the way! Any pictures of the Case decals?

just curious what did you make a rear hitch out of so I can put a grain cart behind it?

I did the same thing on all of @NikkiB models! a 3.5 year old boy and his 1.5 year old brother are harsh on those screws lol

took some figuring for assembly but worked well, the supports do take some effort to take off though and some issues with threading but likely due to figuring out on the fly. looks great

Thanks for the review! I need to make some assembly instructions for this model forsure! I can’t recommend a better tool than some mini needle nose pliers for support removal.

True I did have 1 piece left but it was the round with a chamfer on both ends guessing empty hole in the model where a connection link should be lol holds either way. between players and a scraper for getting it open enough for the dimension I got it just a bit of work. btw one thing that may be good to add is a tab or something to lock the ladder in place I glued it but without it would slide in and out easily (unless I missed something)

Fantastic design and model. Thank you for the print. If the axels for the duallies could be updated to be printed on their sides it would be perfect for future printers. The connection point where the screw starts is a tad weak and then you lose the whole chassis unfortunately. The rest of the screws can be found horizontally on other profiles which is handy.

Still under construction, the stair solution is not yet perfect as it's only plugged in Another point of criticism would be the missing screwdriver, but that can be easily obtained from one of the provider's other models As described in other comments, removing the supports is not that easy but doable I don't really like the look of the screw on the cab The platform holes are not that clean but that could also be due to me Otherwise a great idea well implemented Thank you very much for that

Good design, as maker mentions, you do need to be careful with support removal on lower windows.

Very nice model assembles completely without glue unfortunately a red screw was missing from the set I had to reprint it Unfortunately it was also not apparent that the base frame was included twice for printing Once without a tow hitch among all the other red parts and one with a tow hitch alone on the last plate It would have been better if both had been separate Now I have an extra one but still a great model that my boy loves to play with Thanks

The screw needs to be printed on the side for children to use

if you go to the Toy Loader model there is a profile that has the screws in a horizontal orientation and could be used for reference on support for the hub screw! I’d like to look into redesigning the screws to be much more horizontal printing friendly

I’ve also never tried to print a screw with 100% infill and I’m curious how that would affect the strength of a vertically printed screw! feel free to try that out and report your findings

Replying to @NikkiB :
I tried printing a batch of vertical / no support screws with 100% fill and printed in PETG for extra strength and they were still super brittle. First screw I tried snapped on me just from a touch of tightening. It seems horizontal is the only way to go.
