Description

Summary

I was not happy with what else was available to print so I designed and made my own. IMO It's much better and printed in about 3hrs on a Bambu A1 mini. Pictured with a 375g body and a 300gr lens.

Base: 0.16, 2.4mm walls, 20% infill
Legs: 0.08-0.2 adaptive, 3 walls, 15% infill
PLA if you don't intend to let it bake in the sun.

Key Features:
1) Sits flat even when back legs are removed
2) 46.2* of tilt available
3) Rigid mechanical lock at full extents of range
4) Lightweight
5) Designed around FDM print "limitations"
6) Only 4 screws needed!
1x 1/4-20x 1.75"
2x 1/4-20x 3/4"
1x 1/4-20x 1/2"
2x 1/4-20 Hex nuts (You could print these as well or modify the base to be tapped. I included a step file. Remove the
hex and reduce the thru hole to be .205")
-You can buy 4x 1.75" ones and trim them to length via dremel or hacksaw
-You can also use 3x D-ring tripod screws if you'd like to make this tool-less.

In my province, it's easiest to buy a 5 pack of 2." 'Stove bolts" and modify them. They come with the hex nuts.
