Description

As an American, I have more crap than I have space to keep it all.  So I decided to rent a SECOND storage unit to keep stuff in.

The keys for the units look very similar, so I made a little sleeve to slip over each to help identify them.

There's the key for the “big” locker and the key for the little or “li'l” one.

I've included a black STL for anyone to use as well as the F3D file.

The Fusion 360 file has the timeline rolled back to give a blank key.  There are two sketches with text to edit.

I suggest maxing out at 3 characters and NOT putting a unit number on them!

If you lose the key, it's best no one can figure out which unit it goes to, right?

Should fit keys with about a 17x18.6mm “handle.”

Printing notes

  • Printed on a Bambu Labs A1 Mini with 0.4mm Nozzle
  • Printed at 0.12mm layer lines
    • .2 is fine, but it helped with the lettering fidelity
  • 3 walls; infill doesn't matter as it's not applied
  • Printed in PLA
    • PETG should be fine, but I didn't see a need for the strength
  • Supports were not needed
  • Raft at your discretion, but a glue stick held these to the bed just fine
  • Print VERTICALLY - leave seams at Back or Random (Midway down on the Quality tab of Bambu Studio)
