*This model is a 1:1 replica of my wooden comb, meticulously designed for FDM 3D printers. My grandfather has crafted wooden combs for decades. As a child, I often watched him transform a simple plank into a variety of combs through countless steps using various hand tools. However, the proliferation of inexpensive plastic combs has rendered handcrafted ones less competitive due to the laborious processes involved. Still, my grandfather made many combs and gifted one to my mother and uncle. Upon my marriage, my mother gave this particular comb to my wife. It holds immense sentimental value, as it is a testament to my grandfather's meticulous craftsmanship. Today, I immortalize his ingenuity by recreating it via 3D printing.
