Gridfinity Zip Lock Kitchen Bag Box
Print Profile(3)

Description
I was looking for a Gridfinity Bin to store my zip lock and kitchen bags. However, I couldn't find a file that met my requirements. So I opened Fusion and designed the ultimate Gridfinity Zip Lock Bin.
I kept coming up with new points that I could improve, so it completely escalated and I overengineered it :)
3 Sizes! (more to come)
- 2x5 Grid Size small size (inner length: 205 mm)
- 2x6 Grid Size - middle size (inner length: 247mm)
- 2x7 Grid Size - large size (inner length: 289mm)
Please Note: The boxes are dimensioned according to the gridfinity layout. I have added the mm information to each box so that you can measure your bags before printing to find the right size. Please leave a comment, if you need additional sizes
Key Features
- 2 Grid wide Design - with enough space for a lot of bags
- Different sizes in length to fit the most bags out there
- Sliding lit with a durable and easy to open/ close design - I did a lot of testing in the right profile and tolerances that it has a smooth appearance
- Snap in mechanism for the lid - for a satisfying snap when closing the lid - the lid cannot open by itself
- Lip at the cut out in the lid - ensures that when one bag is pulled out, all the others do not slip out at the same time
- Stable and yet filament-saving Design
- Easy to print with the provided Print profiles
- No supports needed!
- The 2x7 Box is printed in two Parts for Box and Lid - I used a dovetail joint to simply glue the two parts together

Model Details
I used a stable profile with enough space to slide smooth - but on the other hand not too loose. It´s optimized to print with PLA - but PETG should also work.

I designed this “Snap In” Mechanism, so the Lid stays in place and cannot open by itself

The lip on the inside of the lid prevents all the bags from coming out when pulled one bag
