Grip / Controller OLD 3DS XL

Its a custom grip for the old3DSXL.

I have designed one for the new3DSXL aswell, look in to my profile.

My intention was to design something which is easy and comfortable to hold, i tried to replicate the controller of the PS3 because it is in my opinion one of the best ones.

Here is the manual to put it together:

(Photos are from an earlier model but it works the same)

Step 1:

lay the parts down like this:

Step 2:

Put a rubberband in the shins like this.

If you feel like it needs more tention, just add another one.

Step 3:

Put the 2 profiles in the square holes of the grips.

You can glue them inside the holes if you want, but it is not necessery.

Step 4:

Now stretch the 2 grips appart and mount it on your 3DS:
