Description

I wanted a cup holder for my Riese & Müller Load75.

This cup holder can fit any cup up to 82mm in diameter.

Design

It's designed to clip onto the main head and rotate with the handlebar. You can likely snap it onto any vertical tube with a 35mm diameter.

Printing Tips

I recommend printing the main cup holder with a 40–45° tilt towards the back for added strength. This orientation helps distribute vibrations and weight from the ring mount to the base along the layer lines.

Attachment Options

Once the ring is fixed, the cup holder should already have a snug fit. You can secure it in two ways:

  1. Using Inserts & Screws – Insert 4mm heat-set or glued-in inserts into the provided 4mm holes. Then, use appropriate screws and washers to secure the holder.
  2. Using Glue – Apply superglue to the back of the cup holder and press firmly until it sets.

Attaching the Head Ring

Some filament materials may be too rigid. If needed, gently heat the ring branches and bend them slightly to fit them onto the head tube.

Once in place, close the ring and let it cool against the metal. Then, secure it with M3 screws and matching M3 hex nuts.
