Description

TSA Master Key 003 – Travel Sentry

This is a functional 3D-printable model of the TSA Master Key 003, designed for locks compatible with the Travel Sentry system. The geometry was reconstructed based on publicly available sources, and like other keys in the series, it demonstrates the vulnerability of relying on shared-access systems.

The TSA has publicly stated that these models do not compromise aviation safety, but highlight the weakness of physical baggage locks against unauthorized access.

Legal Disclaimer:
Only use this key on your own lock or with the explicit consent of the lock owner. Unauthorized use may violate laws in your jurisdiction.

Handling & Durability:
Due to its small and detailed design, the key is inherently fragile. It is intended for limited and careful use. Apply only light torque in the correct direction. The model is also suitable as a prototype for more durable versions made from metal.

System Context:
TSA003 is part of a series of master keys used to open Travel Sentry-approved luggage locks worldwide. Each key number corresponds to a different internal lock profile. These designs have become case studies in lock security research.
