Description

I had originally seen the idea in Beagle Bro's model photo but they didn't publish the STL so I figured I'd make my own. This is my first time doing a remix and I'm still new at it but it worked for me. The orange, black, and white are Bambu PLA basic and the gold is one I found on Amazon. If I remake it, I'll use a different gold because this one shows the layer lines easily. Hope all you bookish baddies out there like it.

This is my first time ever publishing a file and I only have a P1S so I’m honestly not sure if those other printers are capable of printing multiple colors. 😅 But I just added that to the settings. please let me know if it doesn’t work and I’ll remove it.

I honestly have no clue. 😅 They’re pretty small so over 20 I’m guessing? But I’m not sure why you’d need to print that many since they can’t be sold.

I dont know if i am missing something, but mine isnt showing a cut out for the straw...Do i have to make that myself?

No that should be on the file. it will show as a “negative part”. if you’re using Bambu studio it’ll look like a shadow-y straw. But if you’re looking at in the app (like this screenshot), it won’t show the hole in the preview picture. but it’s there.

the cut out doesn't go all the way through the bottom, its sitting on the print bed leaving a layer or two you need to remove, simply moving the negative parts Z axis location down slightly fixes this issue. the profile has it set to 10.19, lowering it to 10 or even 9 should solve it.

What size straw did you make this for?

the ones I made the hole for are the standard metal straws with a rubber topper. but if you want it to fit the wider Stanley straws the hole diameter will need to be 9.9mm instead of the current 9.7mm

I left the titles editable so that you can change/remove them in Bambu Studio if you’d like.

if you have one extruder how do you get the font to be different colors?

this can be done with an AMS which allows multiple colors. otherwise you’d have to go in and insert pauses into the slice where the colors change. or hand painting is always an option tho very meticulous.
