The SAURK

“The SAURK” is what happens, when you combine a sauce tube with a fork! Simply squeeze some sauce or mustard directly onto your fork before every bite! This ingenious invention was featured in a social media campaign by the sauce company THOMY. You can check it out on their website thesaurk.ch. There you will also find some sketches with (almost) all the measurements.

A colleague of mine saw the “Swiss Army Knife of Forks” on TikTok and asked me if I could print something like that for him. After some research, I found @GLeZz's model of “The SAURK” and printed it. Unfortunately, the thread didn't work. I tinkered around a lot until I finally realized that the THOMY tubes have a three-start thread. But still, many thanks to @GLeZz, thanks to his preparatory work, I didn't have to construct everything myself from scratch.

Print Settings:

• 3 walls
• 0.08mm layer height
• Brim
• No Support

I recommend using a filament that is food safe and heat-resistant (to use “The SAURK” with hot food like French Fries or grilled sausages). You can use PETG or PC for example. The lower the layer height, the more pleasant the “mouthfeel”. You can further improve this by sanding “The SAURK” with fine sandpaper (this works particularly well with PC filament).

To Do:

Add some more SAURKs for other brands, for example, “Löwensenf” tubes. Please let me know in the comments what sauce or mustard tubes deserve a SAURK!
