How Elevate Came to be

I've never been willing to spend hundreds of dollars on designer monitor stands. Instead, I always settled for basic ones that just got the job done. But when I saw the Maker World design contest for monitor risers, I had a thought—why not take all those premium features and aesthetics and design exactly what I was looking for?

 

At the time, I was just beginning to learn Fusion 360, and this contest became the perfect challenge. It pushed my skills, gave me motivation, and before I knew it, I was hooked. Ideas kept flowing, and I realized I didn’t just want to design a single stand—I wanted a modular system that could adapt to anyone’s needs.

 

That’s how ELEVATE was born. A monitor riser designed for choice, customization, and function.

Elevate Your Workspace with Customizable Flexibility!

"Elevate" is a 3D-printed modular monitor riser designed for both function and style. Its interchangeable components let you tailor your setup, whether you need extra storage, adjustable height, or a sleek, minimalist look.

Key Features:

Modular Design – Swap out "wings" and main compartments for a personalized setup.
Adjustable Height – Choose different leg heights or stack them for your perfect elevation.
Strong & Secure – Engineered with solid joints for stability.
Custom Storage – Pick a drawer or shelf for the main compartment and add pen/notepad storage wings if needed.

Dimensions:

📏 Depth: 225mm
📏 Width: minimum: 290mm; Maximum: your choice its infinitely expandable
📏 Height: Starts at 60mm, adjustable in 10mm increments

Printing:

📌 Recommended Materials: PLA
📌 Print Settings: 0.2mm layer height, 20% infill for strength.
📌 Support-Free Design: No supports required for easy printing.

🔹 Navigating the Plates:

  • The plates are labeled to keep your choices organized. If a Base-to-Base Connector or Wing has options, the following plates will share the same label with "(Choice)" indicated.
  • The 160mm Base-to-Base Connector (Plate 08) requires Connector Accents (Plate 11 – both left and right).
  • Each wing plate includes both left and right configurations—simply uncheck the one you don’t need when slicing, or use the 3MF file to rearrange.

🔹 Required Plates:
    ✔ Main Structure: Plate 1 (Main Body)
    ✔ Legs: Plate 3 or 4
    ✔ Storage Choice: Plate 5 or 6 (Main Body Storage)
    ✔ Wing Choices: Plate 12, 13, 16, 17
    ✔ Connector Accents: Plate 11 (for each wing)

 

🔹 Optional Plates:
    ✔ Back Rack: Plate 2 (for cable management)

        📌 Single – Install on the back of any version 2 Main Body
        📌 Dual – Spans two Main Bodies with the Base to Base Low Profile Connector
    ✔ Base-to-Base Connectors: Plate 7 and 8 (connect multiple units)

🛠 Assembly Instructions:

1️⃣ Print the Parts

Print the following:
Base (Required)
Wings (Required - multiple options)
Wing Accent (Required)
Legs (Required)
Your Main Body Storage Choice (Drawer or Shelf)

2️⃣ Attach the Legs

➤ Slide the locks all the way into the base.
➤ Drop in the nuts to secure the legs.
➤ Screw the legs firmly into place.

3️⃣ Assemble the Wings

➤ Push the Wing Accent into place and slide it back to lock it in.

4️⃣ Final Assembly:

➤ Insert your Drawer or Shelf into the main body

➤ Attach your Wings

➤ Screw in your back rack

5️⃣ Lock it All in Place

➤ Slide the locks into position to secure everything.

    ✔ Easier multi-color customization—no AMS required! Simply print the accent piece separately and swap colors.
    ✔ Expanded customization possibilities—new wing designs and features that weren’t possible before!
  • Base-to-Base Connector (160mm) – A new connector with an optional drawer and cable pass-through, giving you even more flexibility in your setup.
