Description
Yarn Spool Holder V1.5 (Updated)
>>for infos about the updated version look at the bottom<<
Hi there, this is my simple rotating yarn spool holder. For the functionality there isn't much to say about. Put your yarn or wool onto it and have fun knitting, crochet, whatever.

What do I need?
you will need a 608 (8x22x7) bearing like you know it from roller skating or maybe other maker projects you have done in the past.
Assembly:
in this cut of the assembly you can see the bearing beeing highlited in pink. First you push the bearing at the tip of the base part.
In the next step you simply put the upper assembly on the lower one. You should feel a slight resistance once you reach the part with the smaller diameter wich holds the outer part of the bearing within the top part.

Update V1.5:
It was now time to do an overhaul of my models and to adress different flaws and ideas wich came up over the last months. thx for the comments.
- changed the inner radius at the upper part to an chamfer for better print results
- inner shaft diameter increased for more stability
- adjusted tolerances at the upper part and the base for a better fitment of the bearing. It is now easier to put it into the upper part and will sit tighter at the lower part. Assembly is now easier. Also the swing of the upper part is now slightly reduced so it doesn't scratch at the base anymore.
- the base got now a additional model with frame to fit centered in my Knitting & Crochet Box
