No screws shelf / desk extender

No screw wall shelf or desk extender.  size 150mm x 150mm or roughly 6x6 inches.

Originally I designed this to place an air filter beside the unused space beside the desk of my mini 3D print farm inside my office closet lol.

I want it to be no need for screws and clamps won't work either since the side of the Ikea desk is semi-thick.

So far, it's hanging quite nicely with the weight of the air purifier. I used the 16lbs Command wall strips (velcro) I haven't tried the double-sided tape one, but I guess it will work as well as long as the things that you'll put on it are light.

I think a shelf for small planters is one of the use cases for this.
