This is my original design, a fusion of a beetle and a staghorn fern.
The beetle's body, combined with wings and large horns shaped like staghorn ferns, creates a unique and organic aesthetic.

Each piece is assembled with different color combinations, making every model truly one of a kind.

Assembly Instructions:

  • A video tutorial will be provided.
  • The joints do not need to be fully inserted, allowing you to adjust the balance and angles to your preference.
  • Some joints require glue, while others may need slight trimming at the tips due to printing tolerances from angled prints.
  • Wing placement: Small wings go on the upper layer, large wings on the lower layer.
  • A 1cm cylindrical piece should be placed between the beetle’s abdomen and the baseboard for support. Secure it with glue.

Align the cylinder with the connection point on the wooden board. Heat the wooden board slightly using a flame or a heat gun to soften it before attaching the cylinder. This will save time and ensure a stronger bond.

Thanks for liking it. By the way, the big wing part on the left side of the photo seems to be installed upside down.😂

For your sake, I decided to change the printing direction of the wings. You can print them out separately to see if they fit.

I haven't even printed this yet, (I will the second that I get home), but way to put two of the greatest things together! Plants and insects! Incredible!
