Fiat Punto Window Mechanism Wheel

Threaded wheel for window regulator motor (front left) Fiat Punto 199. Specifically, this refers to the 2014 Punto Street, but I imagine the mechanism is identical across the entire 199 series.

Required Materials

• Filament: PETG, PLA+ (I recommend these more robust materials)

Instructions

Print the wheel with the larger diameter and attempt assembly. If the mechanism's cords are excessively taut and the springs overly compressed, switch to the wheel with the smaller diameter. The smaller diameter wheel (41.3) worked for me, but these tolerances may vary between printers.

3D Printing Tips

For optimal print results, I recommend the following parameters:

  • Infill Pattern: Linear
• Support:
  • Supports: Enable tree supports (auto)
  • First Layer Density: 100%
• Other:
  • Brim: NO

*Reduce infill to 99-98% if the hot-end scrapes against imperfections and causes the print to detach
