Ramp as an ascent aid for robot vacuum cleaners

This is a simple ramp to enable robot vacuum cleaners to overcome thresholds. The print file contains three parts, which are assembled into one using two pins. I additionally glued my ramp with PLA glue. The ramp is 48 mm wide. For fixing to the floor, 50 mm wide adhesive tape can therefore be used without having to cut it to width.

This ramp will certainly not suit everyone. I am happy to create your dimensions.

For this I need your desired dimensions. The current template is 19mmx48mmx715mm. Simply write your desired dimensions analogous to the dimensions of my ramp in the comments.

In the images you will also find a sketch showing the side view of the ramp. 19 mm is the height of the threshold. Here you should use 1-2 mm less than the threshold so that the ramp does not protrude. 48 mm is the width. You should not make this smaller, as the adhesive tape will no longer fit and the robot may not have enough surface area for its wheels. The 715 mm is the width of the ramp from left to right between your doors. Here too, I recommend 1-2 mm less so that the ramp definitely fits.

I printed with 40% infill and 5 wall lines. The ramp is therefore very stable. Those who wish to save filament can certainly manage with significantly less infill and wall lines.
