Description

The tabs broke off the pusher on my older model Cuisinart DLC 8.  I designed this replacement. The Bambu Studio file contains two plates, one is for an AMS or AMS Lite and colors the OPEN and LOCK raised text a different color. There is no need for a prime tower as the letters are in the top layers of the pusher. The second plate is a single color version that is otherwise identical in dimensions to the dual-colored one. The letters on the single color version should be sufficiently high that you can color the top surface with a felt marker without getting ink on the other surfaces.

I  printed mine in white PLA with blue lettering. I wouldn't recommend PLA if you plan to put it in an automatic dishwasher. PETG is the way to go for that. I used tree supports with slim nodes. I found them easy to remove.

The included design file is for Adobe Fusion.

Notes:

  • I run Fusion in a Windows instance. When I save the mesh as a .STL file, Bambu Studio requires the file to be repaired. The Linux version of Studio does not have a repair function. Since my main machine is a Linux Mint instance, I run Studio in Windows, repair the .STL, save it and then work on it in Studio on Linux.
  • I paint the letters using the layer option in Studio. As noted above, since the top layers are the second color only, no prime tower is needed.

Edit: I added ridges to the bottom of the pusher. Original upload had a smooth bottom. Re-loaded the .3mf and .f3d (Adobe Fusion) files.
