Description

Hi everyone, if you want to see the video I made for this print, it is linked here. Essentially, these legs are designed to be drilled into a basic wooden shelf to act as a leg for a monitor riser / stand.

These monitor riser legs were designed in Fusion360 and can fit standard wood shelving planks. The wood plank that I used was a basic, finished plank from Lowe's. The link for that shelf is here: https://www.lowes.com/pd/Homenations-10X24-DARK-BROWN-D-COR-BOARD/5015586395

The max size these legs can fit is roughly 10 inches. The height of the riser is roughly 3 inches. The wood screws I used were M4 wood screws with a max length of an inch (or you risk protruding out the top side of the shelf if the length is any longer).

If you want a size that can fit a longer piece of wood, let me know! 10 inches was optimal for my desk at the time.

originally made this to actually put my monitor stand on it, which I did at one point and it was very stable even without screwing it in. But I ended up getting a monitor arm so now this shelf is for aesthetics and it looks great! followed the creators recs on a shelf from Lowe's and one inch screws and it worked perfectly! oh I did use the build with the flat bottoms and added felt too

I love the simple design. This printed out great. My one problem with it is how the base is completely round. I printed this to hold a 10kg monitor and I didn't want all that weight to rest on a single point of the curve. I cut a small part of the base to make it flat so the weight is distributed over an area rather than a line. I uploaded my print profile with this change.
