Airbrush Cleaning Station
While affordable cleaning stations are readily available, a repurposed Nutella jar offers an even more economical solution.
The jar's inherent stability and wide opening make it exceptionally well-suited for this purpose.
Several existing online designs exist, yet none fully met my requirements.
My specifications included:
- Standard 450g Nutella jar (upper diameter at thread 76mm, above thread 73mm)
- A receptacle for a 23mm diameter, 13mm thick filter
- Compatibility with both gravity-feed and suction-fed airbrushes
I selected replacement filters for Sparmax A31-F cleaning stations.

Airbrush Cleaning Station
While commercially available airbrush cleaning stations are inexpensive, an empty Nutella jar provides a significantly more budget-friendly alternative.
The jar's inherent robustness and ample opening render it ideally suited for this application.
Although several online designs exist, none proved entirely satisfactory for my needs.
My specifications were:
- Standard 450g Nutella jar (diameter at the top of the thread 76mm, above the thread 73mm)
- Insert for a filter with 23mm diameter and 13mm thickness
- Usable with both gravity-feed and suction-fed airbrushes
I opted for replacement filters designed for Sparmax A31-F cleaning stations.
