Description

🔮 Spellbook for Tracking Spell Slots! 📖✨

I designed a functional spellbook that opens up to reveal 9 slots for tracking spell slots, plus an extra slot for keeping track of things like Wild Shape, death saves, or other important mechanics. The best part? The dice use a spring mechanism to stay in place, making it perfect for travel—no more lost or shifting markers in your bag! 🎲

🛠️ Printing Instructions:

You’ll need to print:

✔️ 10 rivets

✔️ 10 springs

✔️ 10 dice cores

✔️ 10 dice covers

✔️ 2 bars to hold the dice

✔️ Book bottom, cover, and insert

✔️ 2 hinge parts (both part 1 & 2)

✔️ 2 hinge pins

🏗️ Assembly Guide:

1️⃣ Click the dice cores into the dice covers (printing the covers in a different color makes them easier to read!).

2️⃣ Snap the springs into the book bottom.

3️⃣ Place the dice on the bars and position them in the book.

4️⃣ Insert the book insert to secure everything.

5️⃣ Connect the hinge parts using the pins.

6️⃣ Attach the hinges to the book bottom & cover with rivets (a small dab of glue ensures they stay put).

💡 Pro Tip: If a spring breaks, you can remove it with a screwdriver—but they’re a snug fit, so it might take some effort!

🔮 Roadmap for the Next Version:

  • Alternative insert with Roman numerals
  • Clicking rivets that stay in place without glue
  • Experimenting with making the lid a functional dice tray
  • Improving the hinges so you can open/close the cover completely
  • Adding a way to keep the lid closed (magnets or clickable system)
