Hello everyone,

here is my new project.

Since I now work a lot with threads in printed parts,

but these do not have the desired stability like metal.

I now use melting nuts made of brass in various sizes.

I use M3, M4 and M5 nuts.

To get the nuts at right angles into the printed workpiece,

I decided to build a melting aid for my soldering iron.

Since I still had linear bearings with the corresponding size in the basement, I used them for this project.

The linear bearings have an inner diameter of 10 mm and an outer diameter of 19 mm.

As a board I took a beech board that I still had left over.

I printed all workpieces with 15% infill in PETG.

The threaded nuts are all M3.
