Grundle hails from the rugged peaks of the Trollfang Mountains, home to a race of mountain trolls known more for their brawn than their brains. Grundle, in particular, was never the sharpest tool in the shed, often confusing his own feet for rocks or trying to eat his weapon by mistake. One day, while attempting to sharpen a stick with his own teeth, Grundle stumbled upon an ancient double-bladed spear left by a long-forgotten warrior. Thinking it was a particularly large and shiny stick, he picked it up, only to accidentally activate its magical properties, which slightly enhanced his strength but did nothing for his intellect. Now, Grundle roams the mountains, his spear in hand, often getting lost or stuck in crevices, but somehow always finding his way back to his tribe, much to their amusement and occasional dismay. Despite his dim-witted nature, Grundle's heart is as big as his appetite, and he's fiercely loyal to his fellow trolls, even if he sometimes forgets their names or tries to hug them with his weapon still in hand.
