14mm Plastic ball (10PCS) - ZB001

Description

A simple marble run game where the goal is simple.

The goal is to finish ahead of the black marble; if your marble is behind the black ball, you lose. If your marble is directly in front of and touching the black ball at the end, you win

A black ball is spun in the vortex.  4 Players compete to be the closest to the black ball without being behind the black ball.

If the black ball is in front of you at the end of the run - you lose.

If you ball is directly in front and touching the black ball at the end of the run - you win!

I bought these cheap marbles from amazon:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BFRBJLW4?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

But the Bambu Marbles would fit as well.

As long as the marble is 0.63" in diameter or less - this game should work.

Everything I printed was in Matte PLA.

Print 4 different colors (if you want) for the marble run.

Assembly is very easy and straightforward.  The flipper is pinned to the run and locked by two shaft collars.

The rest of the pieces just fall in to place.  3 smalls posts are used to connect the collar to the vortex.  These prints do take a decent amount of time and I chose to make those parts sacrificial just in case of breakage.

Any connecting features are printed at 70% gyroid infill for strength.

The parts are not tightly assembled as this game had kids in mind.  Everything is lose in case there are drops or hits and the pieces have room and clearance to not snag and break.

Enjoy!
