LED Floating Lotus Water Lily Flower (Waterproof)

Thanks for the all feedback, to improve the buoyancy of model in water I have refined the base to include a channel of air in the outer ring and some drain holes in the base. This should improve the functionality of the flower as floating model. 

The new base should be printed with NO Supports to ensure the outer ring is hollow.

Floating Lotus Flower / Water Lily with color changing Waterproof LED light.

Great for a pool or a pond (even a bath bub). these flowers will add a little ambience to your water feature and are fun to look at.

The LED lights available for purchase from the Maker Supply Store ( Mini Waterproof RGB LED Tea Lights with Remote Control (6pcs) )- Linked - are remote controlled, waterproof and have 12 preset colors and a couple of color changing patterns to choose from. 

I printed the Flower in both White PLA & transparent PETG and both work well, the attached images show both in action.

For the Base it has 2 parts and can be colored the same or differently (I did a single color): 

• 0.2mm Layer hight , 20% infill (adaptive cubic), Seem set to “Rear” - No support needed

For the Flower:

• Tree Support with 25% threshold angle
• I used No infill -  but 15% infill would be fine and the inner petals and the tops of the outer petals essentially don't have any infill. 
• If printing transparent PETG - ensure ideal setting for the filament of choice.

Added an alternate base by request, which is the leaves only. 

Does not really float very well, the base layer sits just under the waters surface.

Intended for table top decorations or dryer applications.
