How did you guys print this dragon? I keep getting slight issues with the part curling during the print and that is whilst using the designers print profile with no other changes being made other than colour... I am printing on an A1 with Bambulab filament

You should try and adjust your bed and filament temperature settings.

You commented on my rating, Bambulab does not allow me to rate higher than I did due to the fact that the print fails every time. I have changed temps, speeds etc etc to try and prevent the overhangs from curling up. Nothing that I have done works. I understand the point you made on my rating and I have deleted it since but keep in mind the ratings are against the print profiles not the model.

have you tried applying any glue to the area it can help hold down lifting issues ( from my personal experience) . and its so cheap for some purple glue stick and now have no issues ( just had issues with dragons on some filaments and increasing bed temp nozzle temp helped some but a gluestick has given me no issues so far (only 25 or so prints in using glue so far i used to be against it )

Looks great as long as you don't try to free it completely from each segment. The head fuses to the second body segment and starts breaking the loop if you try to separate it. [Edit: Tried a second one after rotating the model ~35 degrees, splitting the dragon into objects, moving the head a few tenths of a millimeter, re-assembling the model, then rotating it back to fit the build plat again. This print has a delightfully floppy head.]

Wish I had read this comment before printing and promptly snapping the head off. Not the best design IMHO.

You're right! I don't know what happened there, I'm positive I uploaded a photo of this model. I'll see if I still have it.

My son loves it!! the first joint is fused at the head, not sure if it’s supposed to be but I’m scared to try to get it to move & break it wasting 4+ hrs of printing. The last joint was also fused but has since started moving. FYI, the crystal points are VERY sharp!!

Same happened to me, the first joint will break if you push a little too hard.
