Description

A1 Mini Y-axis WD40 Oil Applicator

Spray oil application frame to prevent splashes.

Also has the cutout for the rail so you can move back and forth alongside it to spread the oil.

Small “shelf” reservoir to collect excessive oil

Print with the Tree supports + outer brim/mouse ears recommended.

For lubricating I recommend using the following oil options in this order (best first):

  1. Pure mineral oil – such as sewing machine oil or another light machine/mineral oil.
This is the most suitable lubricant for metal guide rods and linear motion components. It provides smooth movement, good protection, and does not attract excessive dust.
  2. Ballistol Universal Oil – a light mineral-based multipurpose oil that offers corrosion protection and good lubrication without leaving a heavy or sticky residue.
  3. WD-40 Specialist PTFE (called WD-40 Specialist Dry Lube on the US market) – a PTFE-based dry lubricant that reduces friction, but may attract dust over time.
  4. WD-40 Multi-Use Product – Bambu Lab officially lists this product as a maintenance option for lubricating the Y-axis on their wiki. When using WD-40 Multi-Use Product, apply only a small amount and avoid contact with belts, plastic parts, and rubber components.
    See the official guide here:
