Description

IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!
HEY FRIENDS! 💛

FIRST OF ALL, A HUGE THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO TAKES THE TIME TO LEAVE FEEDBACK ON OUR PRODUCTS — IT REALLY MEANS A LOT TO US!

SECONDLY, WE’VE JUST ADDED NEW PRINT FILES FOR THE LAMPSHADES WITH FULL SUPPORT VERSIONS. BASED ON YOUR COMMENTS ABOUT PRINT CLEANLINESS, WE’VE FINE-TUNED THE MODELS FOR SMOOTHER, MORE PRECISE PRINTING.

JUST A QUICK REMINDER — THESE ARE HOLLOW OBJECTS, SO THEY REQUIRE FULL SUPPORT, WHICH MEANS A LONGER PRINT TIME. BUT, THE QUALITY OF THE FINAL RESULT SHOULD BE BETTER!

AND DON’T FORGET: DRY YOUR FILAMENT BEFORE PRINTING TO GET THE BEST POSSIBLE FINISH.

HAPPY PRINTING, EVERYONE! ✨

For better print results:

  • Layer hight 0.2
  • needs a support  (main part - normal  Snug, adapters - Tree slim)
  • suggested applying “Variable layer height” to improve the rounded part of the shade.

Filament of main part - eSun PLA+ White.

Enjoy =)

💫I truly appreciate every one of you. Your support means so much to me and inspires me to create more designs that resonate with you all. Thank you!💛

Hi there! Thanks for creating this beautiful lamp. I followed the recommendations and didn’t encounter any quality issues. It looks stunning! The large lamp with the tree support took 24 hours to print with PLA matte material. I’m facing a problem. The top part of the lamp is about 1 millimeter smaller than the base, preventing it from closing properly. Have you encountered this issue? If so, what’s the solution? I’m considering increasing the size of the top part, but I’m concerned it might affect the design. Have you set up the lamp differently to avoid this? You can see the gap in one of the pictures. Also, has the larger part of the lamp expanded since it’s substantial? Another question is about using the lamp as a floor lamp. How does the base lock with the plate to prevent the heavy base from falling? Once printed, does it lock, or do you add adhesive or a non-permanent solution for easy bulb changes? Thanks for your time and consideration.

UPDATE: After using the hairdryer, I managed to slightly heat the plate, and everything is now working as it should! Thank you!

@phc2020 Thank you for your review and photo! It looks very nice! Regarding your questions: 1. I don't quite understand the issue with the gap. The adapter is slightly larger due to the click lock that attaches it to the main form. It's purely a design decision. 2. In the project, glue or any other stitching is not needed for assembly. It is enough to press lightly and click the two parts together, and they should also open easily. I tested it on various lamps and experienced no issues with the main part staying in place. But I can see that everything worked out fine for you. Thanks again for your review, and let me know if anything is unclear.

@user_2555386368 I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe smth with the filament itself. However, for a more perfect finish, try flipping the part over and placing it on the support (I recommend using Tree Organic). It will take longer to print and will cost more in support, but it should help you print a cleaner part. I have attached screenshots of the support and settings that may help.

Hello, thank you for sharing this. I would like to suggest you to edit the model to make it printable in spiral vase mode. I think this could make the print faster without losing quality. Maybe the hollow effect could be obtained with a hairdryer.
