Description

Update V.2

Okay, I see that the mechanism is still breaking, which is disappointing. That’s why I’ve redesigned the model—now the bolt consists of two parts that need to be glued together. At the bottom of the description, I’ve added a GIF showing how to do it. This should significantly improve the durability of the ejection mechanism.

I'm re-uploading all print profiles as Version V.2, while keeping the old ones as a reference. Hopefully, this new version will be much more durable!

Update

I’ve updated the print profiles—the handle and socket are now more durable.

For the lock mechanism, I recommend using filaments with high interlayer strength. I used BambuLab PLA Basic, and any filament with weaker layer adhesion could cause the ejection mechanism to break. For example, PLA Silk or PETG may not be suitable.

This is a 3D-printed bolt action sniper barrel with a functional four-stroke bolt mechanism. You can insert a round into the chamber, cycle the bolt, and when pulling it back, the round is automatically ejected. Perfect as a fidget toy or a mechanical demonstration model.

What do you need for assembly?

Nothing – all parts are designed to fit together with a press-fit. If needed, the bolt handle and muzzle brake can be glued for extra stability.
