Description

This is a golf ball cleaner that you can hang on your bag. It is a fast print and assembly takes only a few minutes. All you need is some sponge and a piece of string. Expand to see instructions. I have also looked on Makerworld and I believe that this is the first of its kind uploaded so I would really appreciate support so that this shows up first if others upload the same thing. This model is also exclusive to makerworld but I don't have the requirements to make it show up that it is exclusive. Thanks so much for any support ( Ratings, boosts and likes)!

ASSEMBLY

First you need to cut a sponge into a circle. Make sure the top is flat.  The dimensions are about 4 centimetres high and about 7 centimetres wide. Make sure to remove the abrasive stuff.

Then all you need to do is cut a piece of string about twice the length of how far you want it to hang off your bag. Then take both ends of the string and push one end into the hole on the left and the other end on the right. After that, take the two ends and put them through the middle hole and tie a knot at the end. You can then hang it on your bag. Make sure the string is thin enough that you can get it through the holes.

HOW TO USE

Before your round of golf put some water on the top of the sponge and rub it in evenly. A golf ball works well for this. The water will last for about a nine hole round so you will just have to pour a few drops of water on the sponge from your drink bottle. You could also try soapy water or detergent. If you try that please tell me how well it works. Just rub your ball on the sponge to take off the dirt.

Care

After your round it is best to wash out the sponge. Just use a tap and let the water run over the sponge. The dirt should just wash right out. If its not working properly try cleaning the sponge. NOTE THAT THIS DOESN'T CLEAN OFF EVERYTHING LIKE OLD STAINS.

Oh boy... I've been working on a portable golf ball cleaner model for a while, and this is like way simpler and cleaner than any of the approaches I had. Kudos!

simple and effective! one recommendation is to add a drain hole at the bottom of the dome, to help flush out dirty water and so the sponge dries completely and doesn't get moldy.

drill a drain hole? sounds pretty easy if you don't want to modify the .stl file.
