2016 - 2023 Toyota Tacoma tailgate hinge support / bushing. part# 66143-04021
My truck was going through 1 or 2 of these every year. Decided to model it and print some off. I tried PLA and PETG. Surprisingly PLA has lasted the longest so far and is still going. I have some bambu paht-cf and my plan is to print this part in that filament. Just haven't gotten around to drying it. I'll add the profile when I do.
I have two versions. One has the “retention pin/clip” thing. I don't think its actually needed, so I have a model with it removed also. It was probably more for part retention and locating on the assembly line.
This is my first draft and I think I could make some improvements, but it's worked well enough for me.
