TFlight Hotas 1 Throttle Cradle-Afterburner Notch

This is a replacement for the original cradle that the throttle sits in for the Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas One that has the 50% throttle removed and an added notch just before the final ~10% of throttle or afterburner would engage. I got tired of the throttle falling down the rest of the way into fuel devouring afterburner while trying to super cruise and didn't like the way other fixes felt on the throttle so this seems to solve the problem for me. The hotas will go all the way to 100% as before, it just now will not fall into it unless you want it to. In the cover picture, the original part is on the right and the replacement is on the left. I can make models with the slot in different locations or none at all as well if requested via comments. I printed in Bambu PETG HF but I suspect that any filament you like or have on hand other than tpu would be suitable as this part is not under a lot of stress or seen after reassembly.

Installation instructions:

• Remove all screws from the bottom of the thrust side of the hotas and seperate the bottom from the top.
• Carefully remove silver screws holding in the original cradle and lift away. I find it is easiest to do this with the hotas upside down off the edge of my desk. NOTE: Be careful when removing the cradle as there is a piece under there that is under spring tension, the pieces are big, but if you lose them you're kind of screwed.
• Grease new cradle with Super Lube 51008 or similar consistency oil. If you choose to use a different oil, just make sure it is Dielectric as this will be in close proximity to exposed wires and circuit boards.
• Replace old cradle with new cradle in the same way that hotas was previously installed and ensure that the throttle potentiometer is seated in its slot and not crooked before screwing in new cradle. The new cradle should kind of pop into place.
• Reassemble hotas being careful not to damage any of the wires or solder joints and enjoy.
