If you printed this and found it useful for those unused containers, please consider giving me a boost!
I had so many extra bins laying around and I saw that there were files created for a slide on lid, but I wanted a snap on style - so I created one!
This one is printed out of TPU, but i suppose to PLA would work, just might not hold up over a long period of time with everyday use.
I've included an extra file that has the full breakdown of the Milwaukee logo as well. You can do it 2 different ways 1- print all together, or 2 - print the lid and logo separately ( maybe lid out of TPU and logo out of PLA) then simply glue the logo into the pocket on the lid. I suggest you use support with the top layer offset at .25 instead of stock .2, support came right off and left a perfectly clean bottom! I've shrunk the independent Milwaukee logo to 99% to help it fit better. You may have to scale it up/down depending on your printer
There is a small brim around 2 sided of the lid that snap on the bin and keep is really secure, but then pops off with some hand strength. I can now fill this with screws and toss it in my work bag and have no worry the lid will slide off!
