Description

Low Profile Phone Holder with cable channel for standby mode. Works vertically and horizontally. Fits cables +/- 3mm in diameter. Built for the standard in-box Apple cable but should work with other cables. Notch allows for swiping from the bottom of the screen.

Printing Instructions:

  • Chamfers are designed for a 0.2mm layer height but 0.1 should work. Anything in between may not provide the desired result.
  • Use a mouse ear brim to prevent warping.
  • Use a modifier to select the upper part of the model - Not the base, the angled part that the phone rests on, to make it solid, providing more strength.
  • Use an effects sheet to add a cool and smooth look to the bottom!
  • I found faster print speeds result in some bumps on the top of the base so consider slowing printing down at the top.

Assembly:

Route the cable through the path once printing is complete. Use superglue to hold the cable permanently if you wish.

Based on a logitech phone holder I have. Printed in Bambulabs Ash Grey Matte PLA.

Happy printing! Please let me know if you have any feedback for me!
