Description

I use Hoppe's Oil No.9 as a light oil for lubricating high precision mechanical devices such as digital calipers or similar devices. I use thin watchmaker's screwdrivers as applicators and I do not use the embedded top cap applicator (too big/imprecise for my uses). To reach the oil and dip the applicator in it I unscrew the bottle cap. The problem with the original orange bottle is that it's very easy to topple it… and then it will readily overlubricate everything on your bench top :-). This model solves the toppling problem. Pictures are self explanatory. The inside of the cage sized such that it stays on the bottle's bottom even if you lift the bottle, but it's extremely easy to slide it off. At least that's the case for No.9 2.25 fl.oz. / 67mL bottles sold in Canada.

This is a niche model for sure :-) - please feel free to boost me if you like it. Thanks!
