Description

This is a fan-made wall art paddle inspired by Viana/Moana 2.
While not perfect or a perfect replica, it’s a fun decorative piece for any fan of the film.

I chose not to add screw holes, so it’s designed to be attached using double-sided tape for a clean display. Printed using Wood PLA for a natural look and generic Yellow PLA for contrast.

Printed at 0.8mm layer height to capture as much detail as possible. You can increase the layer height for a faster print, but I’m not sure how much detail will remain visible.

inverted and mirrors it, increased it 122% and slapped the two pieces together. perfect for a 3 year old Moana fan. even engraved it.

Without an AMS I would have just painted that. I have a Geetech (or something) silver and it's very shiny. Their gold maybe like that too?

Incredible print.. I enlarged it to 4 1/2' feet long and then mirrored it so I could glue all together to make a prop for my 7 year old Granddaughter to use in her school play.. Absolutely incredible print!!!!

beautiful! working on an inverse to glue to the back and add strength, but as designed this is amazing! I also customized and added my daughter’s name!

Bed Adhesion Issue:The paddle is one-sided - the drawings are only on one side. The connection between the paddle and the rod is not reliable - even glue did not help. The paddle came off the surface of the substrate at the edges during printing. Perhaps you should increase the temperature of the substrate a bit. Or add additional layers.

Hello, Yes, this piece is one-sided. As clearly stated, it is designed as a wall art piece, so details are only required on one side. The connector is sufficient since it will be mounted and is not intended to be handled frequently. I have successfully printed three of these without any issues. Did you make any modifications to the print profile?

Thanks for the feedback! I was typing through the BambuLab app on my smartphone. I chose the model corresponding to the printer - A1. Speed 100%.

Ok! I would suggest having a really clean bed plate then. Alternatively you could add a brim. As i said , I have printed this 3 times. Wood PLA and with a Generic brown PLA without any issues with the selected print profile
