I designed a mini diorama for the brave soldiers of bridge 4.

I suck at painting 3d models, but i wanted to make the spear glow. It would be better to use glowing filament or something like that for the spear, if you do, please share a picture of your print.

The Flag is bend with a heat gun and a round dowel.

The spear is designed after a lot of google searches how Kaladins spear might look like.

Printing is relative straight forward, the only tricky part is the tip of the spear. But with the provided profile it worked well for me.

Please enjoy :)

I used a blue gradient for the spear. I think it came out good. I still need to heat the flag backup and add a little wave to it.

It looks awesome :) Is that blue gradient filament?

I cannot get the spear to print without massive stringing. I’ve tried three different filaments. Anyone tried adding supports or am I alone in my singular inability to print the Sylspear? Stone base came out great.

supports wont work I think because the spear is so delicate and thin. You could try to lower your print speed. maybe you could get rid of the stringing with a microburst from a gaslighter?

Took many attempts to get this right, but the final result was great. worth tweaking settings and trying different filaments
