Print Profile(2)

Description
EDIT 1/2026: I have added a profile for a TPU version of the wrist rest based on some of the ideas I saw in the comments. Also, for both print profiles, the connectors that connect the two halves of the wrist rest can wear out or break over time, even with little fatigue. The best solution I have found is to use the connectors purely for alignment, then weld the two halves together on the under side with a soldering iron. Super glue works as well.
This is a wrist rest compatible with the Keychron V1 and Q1 keyboards. It allows your wrists to rest in a more natural position while typing, rather than having to reach over the keys.
Due to the width of the keyboard, this model needs to be printed in two pieces as it is too wide for the build plate. However, I was able to cut it in half and stand it upright, and was able to print it on an A1 mini.
The wrist rest is secured to the keyboard by using the tabs on the back side of the model to hang on to the two rubber feet on the keyboard. This keeps the wrist rest in place nicely. However, if you elevate the back of your keyboard, these tabs may not work as well and it may slide around a bit. I have added two channels under the front side of the wrist rest to allow clearance for rubber feet if you choose to install them.
If you like this model, please be sure to like, boost, and comment with photos of your prints!
