@compute4you First I want to say that I LOVE this design!!! A) the concept...put the desiccant at the perimeter of the spool with the filament, rather than in the spool core, sealed off from the filament in the vacuum bag :-(. B) I would have never thought to make something structural that is just 2 layers thick. Brilliant design that uses minimal material. C) Exposes lots of dessicant surface area. Great design! Second, I agree with @edding3001 below that it would be good if the lid also had the slits for the walls. That would make is stronger. So I modified the lid to have slits and went to post a remix, buy your license, with ND in it, doesn't permit the posting of a remix. I will happily post the remix if you change the license to remove the NoDerivatives attribute. I also struggled with the nuts, so scaled them down 5% in X and Y and they work nicely. Will include the revised STL for these in the remix.

nice and easy to print. it wood be good if the lid would have the same slit as the bottom so the walls could slide in. This would keep the silica beads inside.

Pretty good! Not really others like it out there I could see. I liked how easy the silica color was to check when printing with some clear PETG (see photo). DON'T USE THIS PRINT PROFILE THOUGH! The newer one has tabs on the top to help hold the walls in place. Big improvement! While this isn't the model I chose to print many of after trying out several silica holders... it was a serious contender. Ultimately I thought it was a bit too flimsy and harder to open/close than I'd have liked.

Printed very well. The screws were also nice tight to screw in. On vacuuming it bend but still is functional and keeps the silicia in
