Drill Paint Mixer V2 - Durable, tested, refined!

After trying several other paint mixers, I noticed that they often:

• don't mix very well
• break due to poor layer alignment
• take too long to print for what they are

Therefore, I present my version of a 3D-printable, drill-mounted paint mixer. Designed for durability, practicality, and reliable performance, this mixer is made to reach and scrape both the bottom sediment and the sides of the can for more thorough mixing. The Flow & Scrape Spoilers help move material more effectively through the paint, improving circulation and reducing the amount of unmixed material left behind.

A big thanks to the users who have tested, commented, and shared feedback on the model. That input has directly led to several improvements. The connection between the shaft and mixer head has now been reinforced, the previous micro-diffusers have been removed to improve bed adhesion and print reliability, and the Flow & Scrape Spoilers have been further refined for better function.

Designed with 3D printing in mind, I chose a flat print orientation. This makes the model much more robust than many other versions while still keeping print time short. That is especially important for practical, problem-solving models like this. After all, I don't want my paint to dry while I'm printing a paint mixer.

This tool is a great solution for DIYers, makers, and professionals looking for a simple, efficient, and smarter way to mix paint straight from the 3D printer to the next project. A useful addition to any garage, workshop, or toolbox.

I would like to point out, however, that a flat model like this will not perform as well as a more complex, carefully engineered mixer. But it is many times more durable, much easier to print, and still gets the job done.

Available in 3 versions 

Large - 287mm long. 9,5m shaft.

Standard - 240mm long. 8mm shaft.

Short - 206mm long. 8mm shaft. A1 Mini Compatible
If you choose to print or create your own print profile, please keep in mind to max out on walls to make it sturdy.

Below is a video of the standard version. As you can see it sets the whole 2,5L can in motion, and the drill even has some power to spare. For 5-10 litres I suggest the large version.
