Trading Card Desk & Wall Mounts | Print In Place
Print Profile(2)

Description

Edit #1:
- Added updated holders to use snap pins instead of magnets. Larger/Heavier one touches were struggling to lock holders in place.
- There are pins for each size one touch and are designated in the file 35pt - 55pt, 75pt, 100pt, 130pt, 180pt & 360pt.
- Mounts now come with Print in Place legs that can stay flat for wall mounting or come out for desktop/table top sitting
- Legs come in 3 different angle preferences: 5 Degrees, 7.5 Degrees and 10 Degrees.
- Pictured is 5 Degrees, but some may want a different look
- Legs come in 3 different angle preferences: 5 Degrees, 7.5 Degrees and 10 Degrees.
- Snap pins work the same to be able to chain as many magnets or snap pin mounts are you want in a row
Something new on my side of things, I do enjoy collecting cards and a buddy and I got into a race to build a plate for last names with full Letter patch cards, but I had no way to display them and wanted to do so my own way. But this can be for any type of trading card, from Pokemon to Magic the Gathering, to all sports and more. If its a card and fits in a One Touch style holder it'll fit in these holders
This lead me down a path of being able to display any size card, no matter the thickness (cards can be any thickness and I have tested the following: 35pt , 55pt, 75pt, 100pt, 130pt, 180pt or all the way up to 360pt.
Each card can be displayed by itself, or linked together for a full train of cards by the Snap Pin method I used for the Leg systems on the hueforge frames. This includes cards that are Horizontal; grant it they will look a little different if you go every other from Vertical to Horizontal.

These cards are also kept in place by using magnets! I designed them to work around a 5 x 10mm magnet which can be removed if necessary since each style of One Touch holders may have the magnet in the opposite polarity/direction. Magnet will slot in smoothly and can be removed by using other magnets to pop it out if needed.
To insert card into frame be sure to place card into One Touch or any magnet display box with the magnet at the back. This is what holds it in place. Then line the two notches at the bottom of the of the case with the bottom of the display mount. Lastly, let the magnet snap the case into place. If the magnet is revered, itll pop out and can be inserted opposite direction

There is a hole in the middle of each mount for screw purposes, but Command Strips (I used 2 for the 6 sequence pictures) will have no issues holding up the weight of the mount and cards. If connecting multiple together, you shouldn't need more than one for every other to every forth or corner in my opinion, just depends on how strong you want it to be.
Future additions will include a quick spacer tool with a slot for a mini level to evenly space cards if you want a gap display, but for now having two in a row then the third next to it, removing the middle, should do the trick with no issues.
Please let me know if you have any questions or interest in other options for this project.
For printing, you should only need supports under the hooks on top. All holes, magnet and pin slots, are easily bridged!
There are 4 mounts overall:
- Left M Snap; Left side is capped with Right side snap pin slots
- built to cap an end of a run if you don't want holes on the sides showing
- Middle M Snap; Snap pin slots on each side (Universal for adding both sides)
- Right M Snap; Right side is capped with Left side snap pin slots
- built to cap an end of a run if you don't want holes on the sides showing
- Horizontal Connect; built to add a middle horizontal card to a run or chain with Vertical Cards
- Can use any regular snap connect if you're looking to ladder top to bottom with horizontal cards.
