Description

I used the blink camera on a dock in Florida and the weather takes a toll on the camera. I designed this to help as much as possible while still allowing it to be mounted using the standard mounting hardware that comes with the camera. I printed this with Bambu  ASA because I have experienced PLA to not be able to stand up to the hot sun over time. The camera “snaps” in to place and I feel pretty sure the PLA would eventually warp.  Hopefully this shield will protect the camera and it will last longer in the harsh sun and salt air conditions I place the camera in. No support is needed if placed on the bed with the back facing down.  I printed it with a .4 nozzle and .2 layer height.  Infill was 60%.  Takes about an hour on the x1 carbon.
